Half the Moon is always lit by the Sun. The phase is how much of that lit half is turned towards us. (Seen from above the North Pole, not to scale.)

Try a real simulation

Change the variable. Watch the idea work.

Every ConceptOrbit simulation asks for your prediction first, then sets you tasks and checks your result. It’s the physics, maths or code itself, not an animation of it.

Demo tools

Tools that show the working, not just the answer.

Every course comes with calculators and tracers to open beside your homework. Here are three of them, working.

y = x² − 2x − 3

Discriminant
b² − 4ac = (−2)² − 4 × 1 × (−3) = 16
Roots, where y = 0
x = −1 or x = 3
The discriminant is positive, so the curve crosses the x-axis twice.
Turning point

A minimum, because a is positive.

Interactive past papers

Answer past-paper questions on screen. Get marked as you go.

Every part has its own answer box and is marked against the mark scheme the moment you check it. Practise part by part, or sit a whole paper against the clock.

Simulations include

  • Factorise it, and see the rectangle
  • The gradient of a line
  • Probability with dice
Cambridge IGCSE0478

Computer Science

Data representation to databases and logic, with pseudocode you can trace.

Simulations include

  • (A AND B) OR NOT C

How a topic goes

The same four steps in every course, so you always know where you are and what comes next.

  1. 1

    Learn it

A short lesson in plain English, written to the syllabus. Free for everyone.

  2. 2

    Experiment

Predict first, then change the variable in a simulation and see if you were right.

  3. 3

    Practise it

Marked questions, and interactive past papers marked against their mark schemes.

  4. 4

    Know it’s secure

Your mastery updates from marked work, so your revision goes where it’s needed.

For teachers

See which topics your class is stuck on, before the exam does.

Your students learn from the same lessons you teach from. You open simulations and interactive past papers as you reach each topic, set work, and see who needs help while there’s still time to help.

Moments: 3 of 6 students are still emerging. Open “Balance the beam” for the class, or set a short quiz on it.

Gone quiet: Hamza R. has had no marked work for 12 days.

  • A class in minutes

Students join with a seven-character code or an email invitation, and you let each one in.

  • Open topics as you teach

Choose which simulations and interactive past papers your class can open, topic by topic. Every lesson is free already.

  • Set work, mark less

Quizzes, assignments, exams and study tasks with deadlines. Mark them yourself, or let AI mark first and approve each result before it’s released.

  • See who needs help

Every student against every topic, weakest first, and who has gone quiet since their last marked work.

  • Teach from the front

Present mode puts a simulation on the classroom screen, and many come with notes on running them with a class.

What your students get

Joining your class opens the course’s study tools for them, and they pay nothing.

  • Their progress by topic, worked out from marked work only.
  • A study planner, with your tasks and deadlines first.
  • The AI Tutor: 7 questions a day and 70 a month, taught from the course’s own lessons.
  • The simulations and interactive past papers you open for them, and interactive topical past papers.
  • Privacy: you see their marked work and progress, never their AI Tutor conversations.

Pricing

Every lesson free. Pay only for what you study, or once for your class.

Monthly, in US dollars. Cancel whenever you like and keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for. Nothing is charged now: joining the waiting list is free.

Questions

When does ConceptOrbit launch?

Soon. We’re finishing the last lessons and simulations now, and everyone on the waiting list gets an email the day we open.

How do the discounts work?

The first 50 people to confirm their email address get 50% off, and the next 50 get 25% off. The discount is saved to your account and taken off when you choose a plan.

How will I know if I got a discount?

Places are numbered in the order people confirm their email, and we keep them private while the list is open. When ConceptOrbit opens, we’ll email everyone who earned a discount, and it will already be on their account.

Does joining cost anything?

No. You need an email address and a password, nothing else. There is no card to enter.

What will it cost when it opens?

Every lesson stays free. The Student plan is $8 a month for your first course and $5 for each extra one, and a Class is $30 a month for 20 students. A place on the waiting list takes your launch discount off those prices.

Do students in my class have to pay?

No. Your class gives them progress, a study planner and the AI Tutor (7 questions a day, 70 a month) for that course, plus interactive topical past papers and the simulations and interactive past papers you open for them. Buying the course themselves opens everything in it.

Does AI mark my students’ work without me?

Only if you choose. For each assessment you pick who marks it: you, AI with your approval, or AI on its own. With AI and your approval, nothing is released until you approve it.

Which courses will there be?

Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625), Mathematics (0580) and Computer Science (0478). Every lesson will be free to read.

What happens to my answers to the questions?

They’re optional. Only the team building ConceptOrbit reads them, to decide what to build first.

Can I try ConceptOrbit before it opens?

The simulations and tools on this page are working pieces of it. If you tick “I’d like to test new features” after you sign up, we may invite you to try more before launch.

Be first in.
